Take your best route to 77 Massachusetts Ave., Cambridge. This is the "front door" to MIT, distinguished by the dome, columns, steps, etc. The #1 MBTA bus stops right there. Enter MIT here.
You will find yourself in a large lobby ("Lobby 7" in local parlance). Walk directly across it, and proceed down the corridor there. This corridor is "The Infinite Corridor" and is one of the more important internal landmarks. Proceed through the war-memorial lobby (Lobby 10), and continue on to the next intersection. Turn left.
Continue to T in corridor, turn right (bldg 12). Follow the corridor around to the left. Proceed down corridor; you will cross a "bridge" (windows on both sides) and find yourself in a stairwell (bldg 24). Either take the stairs or the elevator just around the corner to the 3rd floor. Exit the elevator, turn right. A few doors down on the right is 24-307.
