Take your best route to 77 Massachusetts Ave., Cambridge. This is the "front door" to MIT, distinguished by the dome, columns, steps, etc. The #1 MBTA bus stops right there. Enter MIT here.
You will find yourself in a large lobby ("Lobby 7" in local parlance). Walk directly across it, and proceed down the corridor there. This corridor is "The Infinite Corridor" and is one of the more important internal landmarks. Proceed to the war-memorial lobby (Lobby 10), and hang a LEFT.
You will pass between a pair of elevators; proceed along corridor as it wends about the gallery, until it opens up into a cavernous black-stone lobby (Lobby 13). Proceed across lobby and exit via main doors.
Cross the street/driveway to the LEFT corner of the intersection. The building on this corner is 31. Enter the building, turn left, go up one flight of stairs, and the room is immediately to your right.
