Luke Knowlton will be giving a talk on period shoemaking. Part of this will be hands-on, ie. participants will be able to practice stitches on leather.

At this lecture, I will be taking sign-ups for a shoemaking class - to occur later during January, dates/times to be determined by participant preference. This would be tutored by veteran(s) of the previous shoemaking class, held two years ago at MIT. We would request a nominal fee to reimburse MITgaard for leather & tool expenses - say $5-10, again to be determined.
