The School of Science Staff Excellence Awards program is a mechanism to recognize and reward MIT employees. The program is meant to provide opportunities to recognize and reward members of MIT's administrative staff, support staff, service staff, sponsored research staff, faculty, instructors, lecturer's and other academics (i.e. Post Doctorates or Graduate Students) for accomplishments beyond their typical assigned roles and duties. 

All employees may be nominated for this award and there will be a financial supplement reward of $2,000.00 (less applicable taxes) that is expressly distinct from base pay and yearly performance reviews. (HHMI employees may be nominated for the award; however, they are not eligible to receive the cash portion of the award through the School of Science.)

We are pleased to announce the call for nominations for the 2010 "School of Science Staff Excellence Awards."   

Nominations should be submitted by February 12, 2010 to your DLC contact.
