Citing her "exceptionally clear communication of the rich history, the intricate nature, and the modern practice of astronomy to the public at large," the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) awarded Marcia Bartusiak the distinction of Fellow. She will receive this honor at the associations annual meeting in Chicago on February 14, 2009
