Origami Sydney Opera House

There are three sides to me:

#1. The study side of me resides in building 24 at MIT (where the Nuclear Science and Engineering Department is). After trying my hand at research last year, I realised how exciting it is and that I definitely want to major in Nuclear Science and Engineering and become a research scientist.

#2. The leisure side of me lies in the area of music. When I'm not in class or studying, I love to play and write music. It seems to be that the amount of work I have to do is inversely proportional to how much I want to play music and I always receive inspiration to compose music in the middle of the night only hours before a pset or paper is due. As much as I love research, my dream is really to be a concert pianist one day.

#3. The creative construction side of me was inspired during my time as an exchange student and again as an exchange English teacher. I learnt about Japanese folk music and origami in particular. To the left is a model of the Sydney Opera House I built in 2005 entirely out of origami.
