Building Sea Perch

The Sea Perch is one of the several ROV designs published in the book Build Your Own Under Water Robot and Other Wet Projects by H. Bohm and V. Jensen.  MIT Sea Grant has modified the instructions for the construction of the Sea Perch from their book to make it simpler and cheaper to build in the classroom. We have created a three unit manual with detailed step by step instructions and modified parts list. It is available for free download below.

NOTE (August 2007): There has been a significant change to the instructions for mounting the propellers on the motors. For details, see this flyer (38 kb PDF) and download the updated manual below.
