Your MIT Entrepreneurial Experience

Welcome to MIT VentureShips!

VentureShips provides hands-on training for the next generation of entrepreneurs and business leaders. Students work with MIT affiliated early-stage startup companies on real-life business issues ranging from market analysis, financial forecast, regulatory approval, business development, marketing, and more!

Each VentureShips team typically consists of 3-5 students. Senior company personnel and seasoned entrepreneurs from the MIT Venture Mentoring Service provide valuable guidance and mentorship to each team. The program is designed to provide students and post-doctoral fellows without prior business training an opportunity to gain valuable business skills. However, students with business backgrounds are still encouraged to apply. Each student should be prepared to devote approximately 3-5 hours/week to the project.
