    Student Recruitment

    Companies are responsible for finding and selecting students that will participate on their teams. VentureShips helps companies advertise through this website, as well hosting the "Kickoff Presentation," during which, the companies give a 10 minute presentation. Students will have their resumes and applications forwarded to their companies of interest. Every company will then submit a list of preferences, and VentureShips will match the students with companies based on mutual preferences. It is imperative that the company preferences are received on time in order to accommodate both parties.

  • Kickoff Presentation: Friday, September 11, 2009 - from 12:00pm to 1:00pm in Room 4-237
  • Student Selection Deadline: Until Friday, September 18, 2009

    VentureShips Fall 2009

    We host a strategy meeting with VMS mentors in order to ensure that projects are appropriate in answering your business questions, and that they are of proper scope for students that will work 8-10 weeks for 3-5 hours a week. There will also be a final presentation to other VentureShips teams and VMS mentors at the end of the semester.

  • VMS Strategy Meeting: Wednesday, October 7, 2009 - from 5:00-7:00pm, location TBA.
  • Final Presentations: Wednesday Dec 9, 2009 - from 5:00-6:30pm, location TBA.
