Activities

SEEDS for Latin America holds monthly meetings for the exchange of ideas and information. Members and guests are invited to give presentations regarding their area of interest within the framework of Latin American development.

In January 1999, SEEDS members will travel to Peru to help with sanitation campaigns in remote villages along the Amazon river.

Once or twice a semester, SEEDS will organize lectures with prominent experts in Latin American development issues. These lectures will be open to the general public.

Grants

SEEDS members will be eligible to apply for grants to work on projects addressing aspects of Latin American development. Research projects during the summer or the school year, attendance to congresses and community service trips are a few examples.
