Over the past four years, the MIT Senior Gift Campaign has been revitalized through the strong efforts put forth by the Classes of 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009. Participation has grown from one year to the next, showing each class’s dedication to improving MIT for current and future generations. This year, it is our chance to continue this legacy of seniors giving back to MIT at record-breaking rates by reaching our 70% participation goal! 

The Class of 2010 Summer Housing Fund will help offset housing costs for MIT undergraduates participating in volunteer work or unpaid/underpaid internships over the summer. Our project will enable MIT students to gain educationally enriching experiences during the summer without being limited to paid positions. We hope this fund will encourage MIT students to broaden their horizons and participate in a summer internship or volunteer work that will provide them with a quality experience without the financial hardship.

The Office of Undergraduate Advising and Academic Programming (UAAP) will be responsible for awarding the funds from our class project, and based on our results they will begin distributing the grants as early as next summer!

Of course, gifts to any fund will still count as participation in the Senior Gift, but we hope you choose to give to our class project!
