Description:

This is one of the earliest pictures of the dormitories. Runkle has both urns (removed within three years of this photograph) and a flagpole (which remained for many years). This photograph also shows each entry with chimneys. These extra chimneys appear in the original sketches, but in no later photographs. The features along the president's wall are almost identical to they way they are today.
