1924 Technique
This picture shows the dormitories at just about the time that the two fraternities left the building. Compared to today, there was no gatehouse, no front hedge, and no wall along Amherst Street. Kendall Square was also a very different place, dedicated to manufacturing and animal rendering. There is no Kendall Square clock tower. Another building is located next to the dormitories where 100 Memorial Drive Apartments now loom. And an unknown domed building lies where the Sloan School of Management resides today. Ivy has not yet covered all of the dorm or the president's house.
