
Whenever you need to take care of business with Student Financial Services (SFS) in person, visit the Student Services Center (SSC) in Room 11-120. The SSC has several representatives at a central service desk who can help you:
SSC representatives can direct you to your student account, financial aid or loan counselor for a private discussion of your situation. You may also contact your counselor directly.

All Student Financial Services offices, including the SSC, are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. You can find information about your academic and financial records any time on WebSIS, MIT’s secure online student information system. The application deadline is January 15, 2013. All transcripts, GRE scores, letters of recommendation, essays and other supporting materials must be received by the deadline of January 15, 2013.

If your student account has been overpaid, the fastest way to get your refund is through MITPAY’s direct deposit option. You can sign up for direct deposit on MITPAY at any time. Your refund will be deposited into your bank account within two-business days after being processed. If you are graduating this spring, make sure that we have your correct banking information in MITPAY so that we can return funds to you, even after you leave campus.
