About Us

STUDENT SERVICES CENTER

Whenever you need to take care of business with Student Financial Services (SFS) in person, visit the Student Services Center (SSC) in Room 11-120. The SSC has several representatives at a central service desk who can help you:

  • obtain and submit SFS forms
  • make payments on your student account or obtain a refund check
  • sign a scholarship check

SSC representatives can direct you to your student account, financial aid or loan counselor for a private discussion of your situation. You may also contact your counselor directly.

Some of the functions of the Registrar’s Office are also handled in the SSC, where you can obtain:

All Student Financial Services offices, including the SSC, are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. You can find information about your academic and financial records any time on WebSIS, MIT’s secure online student information system. Degree Candidates Please Note

All balances due must be paid immediately to clear your June 2009 Degree. Please access MITPAY to make payments or payments can be made by check at the Student Service Center 11-120.

Financial Aid Updates

The Student Financial Aid Office will be sending 2009-10 aid application missing information letters directly to students using their MIT e-mail account. Please be sure to check your account regularly for important notices. Letters will no longer be sent to parents at the student's home address.
