If your student account shows a credit balance, you may be entitled to receive a refund. Your student account counselor refunds the credit balance to you by check after verifying that you are entitled to receive it.
If you are expecting a credit balance and want to make sure you receive the funds as soon as possible, check your daily student account activity on WebSIS. Once you see the credit balance, stop by the Student Services Center, anytime on Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., except Wednesday the office opens at 10 a.m. Or you can e-mail your student account counselor directly and ask that the check be sent to an address you designate.
If you are expecting a credit balance (for example, from an alternative loan which is disbursed during the fall term) and you would rather keep the credit in your account to use against future charges, please submit a signed Credit Balance Authorization Form, available on the SFS forms page.
