If you wish to apply for a need-based or non-need-based student loan from federal or private sources and/or Federal Work-Study, you must submit the following documents. Applications are accepted throughout the year, but we recommend that you file before April 15, 2012 if you expect to receive credit on your fall semester bill.
The total of all your funding including scholarships, fellowships, research assistantships, teaching assistantships, student loans and Federal Work-Study may not exceed the price of attending MIT.
Also keep in mind that after you’re awarded financial aid, there are additional steps you must take before your aid is disbursed.
