The majority of the students felt that Professors Murman and Breuer were "entertaining" and "interactive with students." The lectures were well organized and questions that came up were answered "quickly and for everybody." The recitations were viewed by most as helpful and a good time to "cover problem areas" and go over the homework. One student commented that it was hard to get up for 9:00 lecture every day and a couple students commented that there were too many days of class. A couple of students wanted more new material, saying that they reviewed too many of the concepts covered in Unified.

According to many students, the problem sets, in addition to the lectures and text, were key to learning the material. One student commented that there was not much feedback on the homework, but good solution sets made up for that. A couple of students felt that the design project was a lot of fun and "awesome."

A background of Unified Fluids was sufficient background for taking this class. If you did the homework, came to class, and read the text, you did okay remarked one student. Many students were interested in doing more work in the lab and seeing the concepts physically. The general feeling from all students was that this was a worthwhile and enjoyable class.

"Murman/Breuer are a great team. Like Abbot & Costello: funny & kind."

"Excellent lecturers: Clear, and inspire interest!"

"By far my overall favorite [class] so far"
