Research

My main research interests are in learning theory. I am particularly interested in mathematical and computational techniques that are useful in deriving learning-theoretic results; these include techniques from probability theory, statistics, combinatorics, computational complexity theory, and algorithms. I am also interested in applications of learning to scientific problems, particularly those arising in computational biology.
