You may have noticed some changes to the home page recently. These are part of the ongoing evolution of our site. If you'd like to send us feedback, we'd love to hear your thoughts.

Anyone can request a spotlight on the MIT home page or second-level pages. We also welcome graphic proposals.

See today's spotlight: MIT, CDC find H1N1 flu virus ill-suited for rapid transmission . A team from MIT and the Centers for Disease Control has found a genetic explanation for why the new H1N1 "swine flu" virus has spread from person to person less effectively than other flu viruses.
