We ensure that students at MIT Sloan have opportunities to understand leadership on their own terms, to learn practical skills and innovative leadership techniques, and to broaden their perspective on general management and organizational leadership. What We Do The Sloan Leadership Club is your source for such events as: The Sloan Leadership Conference is a day-long, multi-format symposium that brings students together with industry leaders, academic experts, and leadership development authorities. The Eighth Conference is being discussed for the fall of 2008. A year long engagement of ideas on leadership, The Global Leader Speaker Series will feature executives and thought leaders within business and outside of the corporate culture sharing perspectives on leadership in today's highly diverse and networked world economy. Practical, interactive, exclusive seminars on management skills are presented in the Magnetic Manager Program. Student-organized, members-only Leadership Expeditions to face leadership challenges and adventures. Leadership Expeditions are student organized, members-only leadership challenges and adventures testing skills and abilities in some of the world's most interesting places.
