Anne Slinn is the Assistant Director of the MIT CENTER FOR GLOBAL CHANGE SCIENCE and its daughter entity the JOINT PROGRAM ON THE SCIENCE AND POLICY OF GLOBAL CHANGE. She oversees the interdisciplinary research center with a focus on science synthesis, working as a science writer/editor, research and fiscal coordinator, and program manager. Her primary role involves sustaining fundamental scientific research on the Earth's physical and biogeochemical climate system, and maintaining the support and focus of applied research on climate-related policy. Her appointment is on MIT's Sponsored Research Staff in the independent CGCS within the School of Science. She is involved in climate-change research and educational activities with the organizations shown below.
