Felipe Rodriguez
Felipe is a Ph.D. student in Mechanical Engineering working under the supervision of Prof. Wai K. Cheng. He was born in Bogotá, Colombia, where he grew up and completed Bachelor Degrees in Mechanical Engineering and in Mathematics. He joined the Sloan Automotive Laboratory in 2013, after the completion of a Master’s Degree in Automotive Engineering in Germany.
Current Research
The focus of the research is to study and characterize the cycle-by-cycle emissions of a gasoline direct injection engine during the crank start process. For this end, different injection and valve timing strategies will be tested.
