The club maintains a mailing list for MIT Sloan alumni working in the biomedical industries ("BioMedAlum" for BioMedical Alumni). This is the conduit by which the club stays in touch with alumni and keeps them updated about school and club developments.

How can alumni get involved?

  • Update your alumni directory information and specify your industry [click here].
  • Volunteer for the Alumni Student Mentor Program [click here].
  • Subscribe to the BioMedical Business Club alumni mailing list [click here].
  • Host club members during the BioMedical Business Treks or propose biomedical business projects by contacting the club officers at biomedofficers@mit.edu.


Why subscribe to the alumni mailing list?

  • Receive an annual club newsletter reviewing the year's seminars, treks, conference and details on graduating students' career destinations.
  • Receive invitations to our annual Boston biomedical alumni networking event.
  • Receive invitations to alumni receptions associated with our club treks throughout the U.S.


Mailing List Policies

  • The mailing list is only used for the purposes described above.
  • Individuals maintain their own membership. See above for subscribe and unsubscribe procedures.
  • Membership is only granted to email addresses that can be confirmed as owned by MIT Sloan alumni. You can update your Sloan EFL (first.last@sloan.mit.edu) at https://sloancf.mit.edu/vpf/.
  • Email addresses are not distributed or published.
  • Emails to the mailing list can only to be sent by club officers.


Troubleshooting your subscription

  • If you do not use your Sloan EFL (first.last@sloan.mit.edu), can the club confirm you are a MIT Sloan graduate? Are you registered in the alumni databases (MIT Sloan Directory, Infinite Connection)?
