Felipe Castro

Felipe is an MBA 2009 at the MIT Sloan School of Management and he is going to focus his studies on general management and sales in the Pharmaceutical/Biotech Industry.
Before Sloan, Felipe was a business development project manager in the strategic operations department at Novo Nordisk (NN) Latin America Regional Office, a leading diabetes pharmaceutical company. For two years he has developed strategic projects throughout the region, travelling constantly to give support to the local general managers and distributors of NN’s operations. Each country and business unit required different kind of support, in other words, his projects ranged from starting up a company in Colombia to assuring proper sales force expansion in Mexico. |

| I’m Brazilian! I’m a 1st year MBA at Sloan and a member of the Entrepreneurship & Innovation program.
I have a BE in Robotics Engineering from the University of São Paulo and extensive experience as a technology consultant in Laboratory Management for clients in Brazil and the US. By laboratory management I mean that I studied the lab processes of the clients, designed a model of the physical process and put it in an information system, automated and optimized the process, put the machines/robots to talk to the computers and created management tools.
After that I worked for another couple of years at a startup, one of my previous clients, creating and managing my own projects. They offer genotyping (genetic analysis) over the internet (www.transnetyx.com).
At Sloan I’m interested in high-tech, information /communication, sales, making new friends … anything different and cool! |

John is a first year MBA student focusing his studies on strategy and operations. He holds two BS degrees from the University of Michigan – Dearborn in computer engineering and electrical engineering.
Originally from the Detroit metro area, John enjoys working on automotive and industrial cases and projects. He most recently worked at a global manufacturing company, helping to launch an aftermarket sector in the business. John also is an avid photographer who photographs many MIT Sloan events. |

Damian Wisniewski

| Damian Wisniewski is a first-year MBA student at MIT Sloan School of Management where he is active in Sales Club, SloanLGBT and co-owner of SloanGear, where he is in charge of custom sales. He was previously employed as a project manager for Oracle Retail. Damian joined Oracle in August of 2005 during its acquisition of Profitlogic, a Cambridge-based software startup focusing on analytical products for fashion retailers, where he started in January of 2004 as the company’s first technical support engineer. Damian holds an A.B. in Mathematics from Harvard College. |

Nishi Das

| Nishi is a first year student at MIT Sloan. She holds an Electrical & Electronics Engineering degree from CEG, Anna Univeristy, India. Nishi has a rich background in sales, business development and technology consulting. She led the set-up of a partner business model between two technology companies, Hewlett Packard and Tata Consultancy Services in Asia Pacific markets. Under her guidance, go-to market strategies were conceptualized to deliver sales numbers across the region.
Nishi is interested in the energy sector, carbon offset market and sustainability. Some of her noteworthy initiatives include Sales Competition 2007, India Trek 2008 and South Asian Business Cultural Function 2008 etc. She is a trained dancer and her interests include yoga and outdoor activities. |

Dev SenGupta

| Dev SenGupta is a first-year MIT Sloan student interested in technology entrepreneurship and sales. He is a co-president of the Mobile, Media and Internet club at MIT (MoMIT) and Managing Director of the 2009 Sloan Sales Conference. Prior to MIT Sloan, Dev spent four years at IBM, working first as a strategy consultant within IBM's Global Services division and then working in IBM's Corporate Strategy group in Armonk, NY. This summer Dev will be working in Google's Online Sales and Operations group. Dev has as an AB in Economics from Harvard University. |

Steven Aller

| Steven is an MBA 2009 at the MIT Sloan School of Management and is focusing his studies on general management and entrepreneurship.
During this year, Steven is launching a company that produces 3D photo-quality signage to the retail and advertising industries at a significantly lower cost and faster turnaround time. Before Sloan, Steven was an Assistant Vice President in Citigroup's Corporate and Investment Bank. At Citigroup, Steven successfully co-launched the Hedge Fund Consulting practice providing business consulting to large and fast-growing hedge funds; the consulting practice won a "Best in Class" award within its first year of operations. Previously, Steven worked in Hollywood for the Producer of the Harry Potter films and for a major hollywood agent. Steven graduated in 2003 from Princeton University with a Bachelor's in Political Science." |

Dan Johnson

Daniel is an MBA student in the Class of 2009 at the MIT Sloan School of Management. During his time at Sloan he has been focusing on strategic management and applying his bachelor’s degree in organizational psychology to more effectively understand and conduct business. He has also been helping to expand the Global Sales Development Series, which offers executive sales training to members of the MIT Sloan Sales Club. He is now one of the two Executive Directors of Training and Development for the club and is continually looking for new opportunities to continue expanding the sales training that is available to MBA students.
Before Sloan, Daniel was co-managing a 3,000-acre production agriculture business in Western North Dakota. His family business produced and marketed a variety of small-grains sold in national and international markets and he was responsible for managing the operations and ensuring production deadlines were met. |
