Thank you for making Charm School 2008 another huge success!
The ever-popular event will return in 2009.

Please return to our site in late 2008 for more details.

How do I ask for a date? Which bread plate is mine? At what point in a job interview can I ask about salary? Should I use a cell phone while on the T or the elevator? How can a student network to find the perfect position?

Join us for MIT's 15th Annual Charm School to find out these answers and more. Participate in mini-classes on a wide variety of "charming" subjects, take in the wisdom of the Commencement speaker, and even earn your "Ch.D." (Doctoral degree in Charm).

Charm School runs for one afternoon during MIT's Independent Activities Period (IAP), a 4-week term in January/February that includes over 700 academic, quasi-academic, and non-academic subjects. This year's 15th annual Charm School will be held on Friday, February 1, 2008 in the MIT Stratton Student Center (Building W20).
