One of the most important and challenging responsibilities of a student government leader is to create and maintain momentum through a positive working environment. In order to do that effectively, one has to have a plan of action, which ideally stems from overall goals that are tied to your mission. This vision, must be something you can share with your constituents, colleagues, and stakeholders in a way that excites them and gets their attention.

Essential to the realization of any good vision is effective communication and relationship building. As a student government leader you engage in multiple conversations every day. Each one of these conversations can help you achieve your goals, influence change, and build relationships with others.
