Can't find something?

Welcome to MIT!

Welcome to MIT! The following pages will help you to get a feel for MIT, how to make MIT your home and how to make a smooth transition to MIT.

MIT Tips are suggestions from current MIT students who want to share with you what they’ve learned so that you can learn your way around life at MIT as soon as possible. Take some time to read the tips and think about which ones seem to apply especially to you.

Get Involved will give you some beginning ideas about how to meet people and how to find your own “niche” at MIT. There are lots of opportunities to get involved in clubs and organizations at MIT – be sure to check them out! These involvements give you a chance to do something important to you or something that you just enjoy. Along the way, you will meet new people and make new friends. Also, be sure to check out the Get Involved Student Life Programs web pages on this site – they are FULL of great information.

Important Websites is a list of some important web sites at MIT that will connect you with people and resources to ease your transition – be sure to check them out!
