Project Abstract:

Gas bubbles have been used in various industries for many years. Its application includes water purification, particles removal, and aeration. Although there are various literatures available on bubble formation, the models used were quite case specific. The concept used in this project is based on bubble formation at an orifice submerged in a specific liquid. The goal of the micro-bubble generator project is to design and fabricate a functional device, and if possible, provide a framework for further research to decrease the bubble size to nano scale.
