SMA is a pioneer in globalised graduate education and research collaboration in science and engineering. The 10th Anniversary Symposium commemorates a decade-long partnership which has produced excellent research and trained a pool of highly talented graduate students, while fostering strong collaborations between individual faculty in the participating institutions.
The theme for this symposium is Education and Research – Impacting the World. The audience will comprise participants from Research Institutes, industry and public organisations, as well as faculty and researchers from MIT, NUS and NTU.
Programme highlights include a Forum on Educating Technological Leaders through Sustaining Partnerships, chaired by Dr Tony Tan, Chairman, National Research Foundation. The Forum panelists will comprise Dr Susan Hockfield, President, MIT; Prof Tan Chorh Chuan, President Designate, NUS; and Dr Su Guaning, President, NTU.
