Going Small - Building Structure by Imitating Nature
Abstract:
There are many examples of biological
systems using inorganic materials to create useful structures. When we try
to mimic this behavior in a laboratory it is called biotemplating. In this
talk, I will describe a biotemplating scheme based on genetically
engineered viruses and dip-pen nanolithography.
