Nanofluidic Devices for Rapid Biomolecule Analysis
Abstract:
I will talk about the use of nanofluidic devices for observing, manipulating
and quantifying the behavior of biomolecules in vitro. More specifically,
I will cover different techniques used to investigate biomolecules
confined in nanofluidic structures for genomics and proteomics. At
the end of my talk, I will present my own research on nanofluidic
sieving structures for rapid biomolecule separation. In particular,
I will introduce a two-dimensional sieving structure that can perform
continuous-flow separation of DNA (50 bp - 23 kbp) and proteins (11
kDa - 200 kDa) within minutes.
