Bio

I was born and spent all of my formative years in Salem, Oregon.  As a little kid I was constantly trying to figure out how things worked, building things, and destroying almost every nice toy my parents bought for me.

As I grew up I realized more and more that I wanted to design and build things for the rest of my life.  How cool would it be to have an awesome idea or come up with a crazy invention and, instead of just telling people about my awesome idea, show them my awesome product.

I’ve played the clarinet for ten and a half years and love it.  I played lacrosse for two years in high school, and did marching band for four.  In college here at MIT I shoot for the varsity pistol team in two events, Standard and Air Pistol.  I’ve been an avid rollerblader since I was 6 and, due in part to this, I just recently took up snowblading.  I’m spending more and more on the mountain now, instead of skating the streets of Boston which has both its benefits and it’s drawbacks.

The next few years of my life are the scariest, because this

is when college ends and life begins.  I can only hope that

all of the work I’ve done up until this point has prepared

me for what I’m about to face, and that in the end I’m able

to keep on doing what I’m doing, because if you’re not

                happy, you’re doing it wrong.
