SUBJECT REQUIREMENTS

The staff at ISP believes that learning is by its very nature an active process and that different people learn in different ways. Learning is only meaningful when you take what you have learned and make it your own. In addition, we look at your curriculum at MIT as an integrated whole, rather than as distinct parts, and try to help you make useful connections across it. We believe that your whole education should be based on participating and collaborating, and on making connections between and among various aspects of your subjects. Our subject requirements at ISP are intended to reflect this integrative and participatory philosophy.
