AboutDepartment-based AiR programs are designed to complement courses and foster trans-disciplinary work. These residencies, no less than 3 days, offer insights into different cultures and different ways of looking at familiar problems. Departments can apply for up to 50% of the total cost (equaling no more than $5000) of an individual program as detailed in the application. Student & Artist-in-Residence Programs can often suggest additional sources of funding. Faculty and staff are encouraged to plan programs in consultation with Student & Artist-in-Residence Programs in advance.Guidelines
ApplySend completed proposals to Michèle Oshima , Director of Student & Artist-in-Residence Programs in the Office of the Arts, E15-205, by [see above]. A panel of undergraduate and graduate students will review the application. You will be informed in writing by the middle of the next month.Student & Artist-in-Residence Programs is available to assist you in developing a strong AiR program proposal.
