FASAP Associate Advisors Application and Guidelines

Associate Advisor Criteria:

• Attend seminar meetings during the fall semester on Mondays 3-5pm.
• Block out M3-5 on fall pre-registration & registration forms.
• Be enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student* during the advising year.
• Be available during the last week of August for associate advisor training sessions through the Academic Resource Center and the Office of the Arts.
• Have prior experience as an Associate Advisor or as a FASAP student if possible.
• Initiate contact with advisees on an as-needed basis.
• Be familiar with the arts at MIT.
• Be actively involved and manage time well between academics, arts, and advising.
