AboutThe Graduate Arts Forum program was created with the goal of encouraging artistic collaboration and intellectual cross-pollination among MIT graduate students from different departments across MIT. The Forums are held three times a semester and are structured around a different theme each time. Two to three graduate students are selected as presenters for each forum based on the quality and thematic similarity of their work, and an artist or faculty member from a relevant field of study serves as a moderator. Each discussion begins with brief, informal presentations by each of the graduate student speakers, followed by a moderated question/answer session. Presentations may include live demonstrations, videos, or slideshows of the students' work.Students attending the Digital Age forum in Oct 2008 . Graduate Arts Forums include a dinner and are by RSVP only. To attend a forum you must be a current MIT graduate student. There are no exceptions to this rule, even for family and friends of presenters.
