Mission Statement

The mission of Student Programs is to connect MIT undergraduate and graduate students to the arts and artists. Our programs act as catalysts for students to discover and develop their artistic creativity. Through networking and advising, the Student and Artist-in-Residence Programs staff creates an environment that fosters risk-taking and problem-solving, connecting creativity across boundaries, and shaping a lifetime of exploration and discovery in the arts.
