WATERGATE
| Introduction: | |
| The WATERGATE (WATER suppression by GrAdient Tailored Excitation) technique uses pulsed pulsed field gradients and is claimed to be independent of lineshape, thereby yielding a superior suppression compared with other methods. Exchangeable protons are not affected and there is no phase jump at the water resonance, although signals very close to the water resonance are also suppressed. |
