600: Bruker AVANCE-600 NMR SPECTROMETER with a Magnex Scientific superconducting actively-shielded magnet - A 600 MHz NMR spectrometer with four RF channels (2 channels include Wave Form Generation). Software: TopSpin 1.3

Available Probes:

  • 5mm 1H{13C,15N} TXI cryo-probe. (standard installation)
  • 5mm 1H{15N-31P} Variable Temperature (VT) and Pulsed Field Gradients (PFG) indirect detection.
  • 5mm 1H{13C,15N} VT-PFG Triple Resonance Probe.

Can observe all standard nuclei (1H,19F, 13C, 31P). Please contact DCIF staff with questions about exotic nuclei.

-Best option for 1H!

 501: A second VARIAN Inova-500 NMR SPECTROMETER with an Oxford Instruments Ltd. superconducting magnet - A 500 MHz NMR spectrometer with dual broadband RF (1 with Wave Form Generation). Software: VNMR 6.1c.

-Best option for 13C!

NMR Data Processing:

 

  • 5 computers are available for off-line data processing. 2 other computers are for making reservations.
  • All computers are equipped with CDRW and USB connections for data archiving.

 

  • During "Walk-On Time" researchers are encouraged to process their data off-line.
