MIT hosts its 12th European Career Fair, in collaboration with the European Commission, on February 1-4, 2008. Learn about career opportunities in Europe, be it in industrial research, research organizations, academia or science policy.

On Feb. 1, MISTI and the European Commission will host a panel discussion on The Global Knowledge Economy with outstanding speakers from academia and industry on both sides of the Atlantic. The career fair will be held Feb. 2, with follow-up interviews on Feb 3-4.

Tech Week continues Feb. 4-7 with technical, business and startup panels.

Interested in space? Biotechnology? How about sound? The MIT Tech Fair aims to provide an interesting and informative display of breakthrough research and development in a variety of fields. The fair will be conducted "trade show" style, giving the audience a chance to learn about cutting-edge science and technology while networking with companies about future career prospects in specific fields.

Taiwanese Career Fair

MIT ROCSA is holding the second annual Taiwanese Career Fair this Monday, Feb. 4. This career fair offers MIT students an opportunity to look for overseas internships and explore career options in Asia. All nationalities are welcome.

Tau Beta Pi Career Fair

The Tau Beta Pi career fair is a chance for employers to meet undergraduate and graduate MIT students. The fair is for all majors, to enable MIT students to find great careers and great internships.

Impact Career Expo

The Impact Career Expo is a venue for socially and environmentally conscious businesses and organizations to meet MIT and Olin College students who share their goals. For students who want to leverage their education in science, engineering, and the humanities to make a positive impact on society, the expo is designed to show them that it's a feasible goal. The expo will also include panels and other activities that allow students and companies to connect over a mutual sense of social responsibility. We hope that everyone will leave the event with renewed motivation to change the status quo.

MIT Careers Office
The MIT Careers Office is here to advise and assist students at all degree levels about career choices and decision-making, and help them to identify job opportunities, academic programs and internships that will enhance their qualifications. Services include counseling, workshops, employer recruiting, job development, preprofessional advising, alumni relations, internships and other opportunities for self-assessment and career research.
