This conference will celebrate MIT's century-old engagement with India, and will look closely at some of the most important current issues in India and MIT's engagement with them.
There will be a variety of sessions spanning topics from science and technology, urban planning, poverty, education and health, to new practices of management for emergent India. Speakers from India will engage in serious discussions with MIT faculty panelists on these different issues. This conference will provide a vibrant forum for the community to meaningfully engage with leaders in India as we try to understand the challenges and the achievements of India. This conference will be open to the public.
