 spotlight: Get in the spirit of Halloween
 

About 75 pumpkins were carved over several hours last Sunday by roughly 35 MIT grad students from across campus. Many of the carvers were taking part in their very first Jack-o-Lantern carving. The event was organized by Sidney-Pacific as part of Fall Festival.

The following activities are taking place tonight at various locations around campus:


 
  Home - MIT Halloween party at Ashdown
9pm-1am, NW35, Ashdown

Come to the biggest Halloween party on campus with free food, a live DJ and prizes for the top 3 costumes.

Persian Halloween party at the Student Center
9 pm, W20, Student Center

Enjoy a Persian Halloween Party with a DJ, live music and dancing. First prize will be awarded to the best Halloween costume.

Halloween at Westgate
5:45-6:45 pm, W85-001, Westgate basement lounge

Come celebrate Halloween with Westgate residents. We'll spend some time in the lounge crafting some Halloween baskets and enjoying some light snacks and candy. Then, we'll head up to the playground for a parade and some trick-or-treating!

Halloween costume party for off-campus graduate students and their spouses/partners
8-10 pm, 71 Fulkerson St., Cambridge

The GSC off-campus subcommittee is organizing a Halloween costume party at an off-campus apartment. The event is open to all off-campus graduate students and their spouses/partners. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
