Through MIT.nano, students are exploring spectrometry, nanomaterials, photovoltaics, and more. They’re also getting an experience not common at the undergraduate level — gowning up in a bunny suit and performing hands-on research inside a clean room

Three students with MIT ties have won 2022 Churchill Scholarships. Seniors David Darrow and Tara Venkatadri and HST student James Diao will pursue master’s programs at Cambridge University.

Starting in 2023, Dolapo Adedokun hopes to play music in Ireland while working on his MS in intelligent systems at Trinity College Dublin. The EECS senior is MIT’s fourth student to receive the prestigious George J. Mitchell Scholarship.

Seattle City Light was the first U.S. utility to go carbon neutral, thanks to Lynn Best ’69, who has also been a champion of environmental justice.
