spotlight: Get involved at the international development fair

Friday, October 5, 1-3 pm, Lobby 13

Home - MIT Being at MIT can teach you a tremendous amount about the world, but one week spent in the slums of Lima or a month spent working with community innovators in Dar es Salaam will introduce you to a whole different set of problems.

Come learn about international development this Friday, October 5 at MIT's annual International Development Fair (IDF) in Lobby 13. The IDF showcases the many groups, projects and activities at MIT that provide an opportunity to work on international development.

Last year, participating groups included:
Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL)
Boston Network for International Development
D-Lab
Design for Demining (SP.776)
MIT Africa Internet Technology Initiatives
Wheelchair Design in Developing Countries
and many more. (view the full list)
