Job Support Group

Job Support Group

Meeting with the Job Support Group provides members with an opportunity to get together, brainstorm, share experiences and help each other as you look for work, paid or volunteer.

Our members have diverse needs. Some of our members choose to follow their career path while they are here, while others have just graduated from school. Some of our members are permitted to work, while others cannot work legally in this country but are interested in volunteering. Some of our members need extra income to offset extra expenses, while others can afford to volunteer. Many of our members simply want something to do!

Please bring your questions, experiences and concerns with you. This is an informal group. Together with other group members, we will do our best to help you find some meaningful work. If you are a member of spouses&partners@mit and have found work, we would love to hear about it!

Our members come from a variety of educational backgrounds and career fields and have different needs and interests in their job search. The spouses&partners@mit organizers do not have expertise or information about specific job listings or career fields but we can provide general job search information and direct you to the resources that are right for your needs.

Start your job search at our Newcomers Guide and join the spouses&partners@mit network on LinkedIn!

Please contact Jennifer Recklet at reck@med.mit.edu for more information.
