The Pourhouse
907 Boylston Street, Boston
T: Hynes Convention Center/ICA Station (green line)
www.pourhouseboston.com or (617) 236-1767
This student bar and restaurant is really well known for the great deals they have along the week, like the half price burger on Saturday night or the half price chicken sandwiches on Wednesday. However, you have to be ready to wait a little since the place is pretty crowded, especially on Saturday night.

Sunset Grill and Tap

112 beers on tap!! A great place for beer lovers. And if you want to have dinner, the food is pretty good to. You can get a coupon on the collegiate coupon book.

On top of the Prudential, this is a great place for a romantic lunch or dinner, with a wonderful view of Boston. The food is absolutely delicious. There is even a lounge where you can listen to some jazz while enjoying a glass of wine.

Paparazzi
271 Dartmouth Street, Boston
www.paparazzitrattoria.com
It is an Italian restaurant reasonably priced and really delicious.

Legal Sea Food
www.legalseafoods.com
They have a lot of restaurants around the city. Even if it’s a bit pricy, you definitely pay for the quality. You could enjoy great seafood and the clam chowder is simply wonderful. The best I ever tasted! That’s the one they serve at the White House!

Le petit Robert
468 Commonwealth Ave, Boston
www.petitrobertbistro.com or 617-375-0699
This French bistro is a nice place for a great diner with friends, or even a romantic one too. The price is acceptable for a place like that: food is great (delicious onion soup) and the ambience is really nice. You can enjoy different glasses of wine (vin au verre) but don’t forget to leave room for their famous chocolate cake that comes with a chocolate Eiffel Tour!!

Barking crab
88 Sleeper Street, Boston
www.barkingcrab.com
By the water front. A pretty touristy place known for there seafood and burgers. Relatively inexpensive.

Legal's Test Kitchen
1 Harborside Drive, Logan International Airport Terminal A, Boston
It's got good funky-retro food and decor, great cocktails, nice service. The price is good too. About $13 to $25. I had really good scroll fish with sweet potato fries and grilled corn on the cob (13$). They seem to have great deserts that I'll have to go back to try. There's an indoor lot and you must show your ticket at the restaurant to get the stamp for a parking discount. Parking there was I think 8$. You can also park for free on the parallel street where this looking modern-roof toped building is (I think it's one of the convention center). Parking there will require that you take a short stroll over the bridge back to where the restaurant is. You can also go by T, it's on the grey line.

Cambridge

Full Moon
Huron Ave, Cambridge
www.fullmoonrestaurant.com
This is an upscale lunch/dinner restaurant that caters to families with small children. There is a play space that can be seen clearly from most seats, bucket of toys that comes to each table, kids' menu includes drinks in zippy cups, plenty highchairs, tablecloth is white paper and there is a basket of crayons on each table.

John Harvard's Brew House
Harvard Square, Cambridge
www.johnharvards.com
Their beers are great and so is the food! My baby has milk and soy intolerance and because I am breastfeeding, I cannot take anything with milk and soy. The chef was able to modify the food for me and it tasted fabulous! He even brought desserts out for us on the house!

Cuchi-Cuchi
795 Main Street, Cambridge
T: Central Square (red line)
www.cuchicuchi.cc or 617-864-2929
They offer small (like tapas), international dishes and also have a 40-foot bar with a large selection of international wines. The food is a bit pricy but delicious.

Middle East
Mass Ave (Central Square)
T: Central Square (red line)
www.mideastclub.com
This place has a fun decor and good food.

Z-Square
Harvard Square, 14 JFK Street, Cambridge
www.z-square.com or 617-576-0101
It is a bit pricey. Quiet and has a great bar.

Punjabi Dhaba
225 Hampshire St, Cambridge, Inman Square
617-547-8272
Yummy Indian food in an informal, fast food setting, right in Inman Square

Le's restaurant
36 JFK Street, Cambridge (near Harvard Square)
617-864-4100
This Vietnamese cuisine restaurant has noodle soup (as they call "pho") and many other foods as Pho Pasteur restaurant in Chinatown, but it has better quality-I think- for example, less fat.

Royal East
782-792 Main St., Cambridge
T: Central Square (red line)
617-661-1660
Lots of choices (including lobsters) & good prices, too.

Bocca Grande
1728 Mass Avenue between Harvard Sq. and Porter Sq.
617-354-7400
Average price: $20
The food is good, similar to what they have at Anna's Taqueria in Porter Square. However, if you like quesadilla, I would recommend Bocca and not Anna's.

Helmand restaurant
143 1st Street, Cambridge
http://cambridge.zami.com/business?BUSID=2345 or 617-492-4646
Price: $21-30
An excellent Afghanistan restaurant that is really good for kebabs and vegetarian food. The ambience is really nice

Central Kitchen
567 Massachusetts Avenue in Central Square
www.centralkitchen.tv or 617-491-5599
It has a casual yet chic atmosphere and the food is excellent. It's not exactly cheap, but it was a fun time. I would describe the food as innovative American, from meat to fish appetizers and entrées. I think they also have good wine and drinks.

Other Places

Ten Tables
597 Centre St., Jamaica Plain
617-524-8810
Ten Tables in Jamaica Plain is a three star French restaurant. This place is located in the Jamaica Plain area. The menu is short and scaled small. When you step inside the restaurant, you'll notice a romantic atmosphere. This place features brunch. People who have eaten here found the food fine and being prepared.
Wonderful, relaxed atmosphere. Interesting interior design. Great service, great food. I highly recommend the sampling menu. We usually spend there 1.30-2 hours and even though there are only 10 tables, nobody has ever rushed us to leave.

Antonia's
37 Davis Square, Somerville
617-623-6700
Excellent Italian food and the restaurant has a big window (which opens completely) onto the square itself. You could toss a penne noodle from one end of this tiny Italian bistro to the open kitchen at the other. But don't waste a bite, especially of the fabulous fresh tomato sauce, creamy manicotti, and feisty mussels fra diavalo. Basic, affordable Italian fare comforts all the more with Sinatra and friends crooning through the sound system.
