She has 14 years of experience in the Mexican public sector and was Urban Development Secretary for the State of Nuevo Leon (2003-2005). Formerly, she was a professor at UDEM, ITESM and Director for the Center of Metropolitan Strategic Development, ITESM. She has a Master’s degree in Urban Planning from the Harvard School of Design. She has published a book, Análisis Estratégico del Área Metropolitana de Monterrey and also has international professional experience in the cities of Gdansk, Buenos Aires, and Boston.
