is an assistant professor, a senior architect and an urban planner in the Department of Architecture at Al-Nahrain University since 2003. She has served as an advisor for USAID-RTI and WHO, Baghdad. She is also an architect and designer of housing and commercial buildings at the Ministry of Housing and Construction. She has a PhD in Urban Center Planning and a Master's degree in Urban Planning. At MIT she will learn about new simulation techniques and their application to urban planning and architecture.
