Al-Assad has 10 years of private and public sector experience in the areas of water resources and water utility management, and projects/ program development and management. He works as a coordination officer for the Millennium Challenge Account-Jordan. Previously, he worked in the Prime Ministry of Jordan, where he played a vital role in assisting Jordan in obtaining a $275 million grant from the Millennium Challenge Corporation-USA. He has an MBA and an MSc in Water Resources & Environmental Engineering. He is particularly interested in becoming an expert and leader in Jordan’s water and energy sectors. At MIT, he looks forward to enhancing his leadership, planning and management skills.
