Liliana is an architect and urban planner who specializes in watershed management and environmental assessment. An officer at the Brazilian Institute of Environmental and Natural Resources, she has twenty-year experience in academia, NGOs, and the private and public sectors. In her work, she has implemented policies and projects related to water, sanitation and environmental quality. She holds a master’s degree from the University of Brasília, where she focused on spatial analysis and bioregional planning. At MIT, she hopes to carry out research on watershed planning, governance and water diplomacy.
